It's Bigger

Wonder woman power sought,
Though they tell her she is nothing.
Just like millions of others mother says.
A hidden knack for the universe.
A subtle sway of the hips.
Average lightening bolt just the same.
Harness that.
Embrace the echoes through space and time.
Knows of time before the word time...somehow remembers the beginning.
Remembers our conception.
Remembers before there was light.
Remembers seeing the first star.
Remembers how to talk to animals.
Called weak?
Called disabled?
Called alone?
Sensored in perceptions, stolen sight.
Made plain. Made low. Somehow by a pill.
Made to not see him, or hear him, or taste the delight of their connection.
If it weren't a twenty years repeated nightmare to find him.
If it weren't the ions of unrest to remember his name.
If it weren't for the one that carried me there, and laid me down on the altar.
How could it be unknown and so known at the same time?
How in one place it's all true?
How I wait for the day when there is unison and clarity between the realms.
I am a seer and hearer...a crossover.
Waiting...waiting to be vindicated.
Waiting, waiting to hear a voice like thunder that beckons my lightening bolt.
Call it a hidden talent this flip flop between worlds.
Call it blocked from me, but say good wins.
Say just a little at a time is revealed.
Say I have a job to do.
Say it's fair to say it's a difficult one.
Fair to know it will be blessed.
Fair to know evil is destroyed.
And fair to know it's not about this little apartment in this little town...or a book or a movie.
It's bigger.
It's way bigger...and the adventure ensues.
