Father

I never really knew what a father was.
Until I met God.
I'd had one that was weak...Broken and gone from me.
Made a Well That's Fair baby out of me!
And oh the pride to fight that!
A drive in me to never return to that shame.
The oldest of thirty grandchildren, never claimed.
But like I said I met my Father...
He gives me gifts fitting of a princess.
How well it is with me that I delight my Father!!!
That He sees me and is pleased!
I don't even know how to express His power in my life...No words can match.
No song that hasn't been sung.
No way I could say thank you in a unique way that would set me apart or make me any more precious to Him than I already am.
And I know He loves all His children this way. And we are all His children...Every last one.
Just grateful for the blessings in my life and that I don't even have to ask my Father and He knows my every need.
And I know I don't talk to him enough or sit in church enough, but just the same I know He answers me...Every time!
