Black on Write

She's temperamental, mostly the mental part.
Often analytical.
Questioning.
And she knows somewhere she is screaming because she is writhing with emotional pain...
But she just calmly stares ahead, ignoring that scream of anguish.
There is nothing that can be done about it, she knows...
Because she has tried everything.
And she has never been so "here" before.
There are two sides to every story,
And Eve Rising is always on the lookout for answers.
She is always on the fringe that something big is about to happen,
Something life changing.
She can feel it in her bones...
And she is that enigma of being at two places in one time.
And her mind drifts off to escape the duality of reality.
Throws her head back and laughs at the frightening silence.
She's really not afraid of much any more,
Although her big eyes might say that.
She just wants to walk into a room and be delighted to see him. Who?
She's not quite sure!
She doesn't know the mysteries ending, and maybe that's why she read so many books as a child.
You know to relish in the adventure, page turning and to never end.
That's what she always said about the good books, that she wished they would never end.
And what's the happily ever after ending about anyhow?
She thinks that means eternity and all souls are home safe.
And she's already seen that part of her story and knows in due time there is a way to write Mr. Black back in.
It's a question faith...and with a twinkle in her eye, Eve rises to the occasion and settles in for the night knowing the Upside Down States were in for awakening.
And the puzzle pieces are coming together...and true love is a direction.
North or south? Divided only by a line of life or death...
Jakes been gone near fourteen years now,
And if the splicing of Eve's dreams is correct, she will see him tonight.
And Adam? Who knows? She hasn't danced with him in a dream since security access was denied.
So she thinks how is it not true, this love?
How not to see the other side?
Duality reality.
And she never saw the ending.
