Re: Treatment Court Support Specialist
Dear Sir or
Madam;
I am
interested in the offered position of Treatment Court Support Specialist. I enjoyed working for the City of Billings
from July of 2007 to July of 2009 as an Americorps VISTA, in the Community
Development Office. I worked on the
Mayor’s Committee on Homelessness for such projects as the Billings Area
Resource Network and Project Homeless Connect, both which were to come to the
aid of the homeless in our area.
I am
familiar with the Drug Treatment Court process, and have acquaintance with
Becky Bey, formerly of Drug Treatment Court, whom was also involved with the
Billings Area Resource Network. I believe that the process is helpful for those
suffering from addictions. Also within
my scope is familiarity with most of the non-profit agencies in the city. I worked with over 40 various agencies on a
regular basis. My network of people and
knowledge of resources is extensive.
I have
recently finished my bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary in the field
of Business Management. The education I
received there would be useful in a position such as this one.
